Privacy Policy for CitaExt

Last updated: February 2026

CitaExt is a browser extension designed to assist users in checking and monitoring appointment availability on official government websites.

Information We Collect

CitaExt does not collect, sell, or use personal data for advertising, tracking, or analytics.

The extension processes the following data:

How the Data Is Used

Data Storage

User-provided form data (such as name, document number, phone number, and email address) is stored exclusively on the user's device using the browser's local storage and is never uploaded to the backend server.

To enable authentication and access control, the backend service stores a minimal user record associated with the user's Telegram account. This record includes the Telegram user ID and technical access-related information (such as access status and timestamps).

Appointment details are not stored on the backend. When an appointment is successfully confirmed, the information is used only to deliver a real-time notification to the user via Telegram.

Data Sharing

CitaExt does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. No data is used for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Security

Secure communication channels are used between the extension and its backend services to protect transmitted data.

User Control

Users may stop the extension at any time. All locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the extension.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of the extension changes. The most recent version will always be available on this page.
